Semi-permanent brow service at Miso Beauty Skincare in Suwanee

Semi-permanent brows are a form of cosmetic tattooing. Pigment is placed in the upper layer of the skin to create the look of fuller, more even brows. We map the shape with you before any work begins and do not start until you are happy with the drawn shape.

We choose between hair-stroke, soft powder, or a combination based on your skin type and the look you want. Oily skin usually holds a powder finish better, while hair strokes suit drier skin. Pigment is matched to your natural hair and skin tone so the result reads as your own brows.

The price covers the first session. A touch-up is recommended six to eight weeks later to refine the shape and color once the skin has healed. Ask about touch-up pricing when you book.

Before your visit

  • Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning supplements such as fish oil for 24 hours before.
  • Stop retinol and acid products on the brow area two weeks before.
  • No brow waxing, threading, or tinting for one week before.
  • Not available during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
  • If you have diabetes, a skin condition, or take medication that affects healing, check with your doctor first.
  • Bring photos of brow shapes you like. It helps the mapping conversation.

  • Keep the area clean and dry as instructed. No sweat, swimming, or sauna for ten days.
  • No makeup or skincare on the brows while healing.
  • Light flaking is normal. Do not pick or scratch.

Frequently asked questions

How long do semi-permanent brows last?

Typically one to three years. Oily skin, sun exposure, and exfoliating skincare all make pigment fade faster. A color refresh can be done when they soften.

Does it hurt?

Numbing cream is applied before we start. Most clients describe the feeling as light scratching or pressure rather than pain.

Will they look natural?

The shape is mapped to your face and the pigment matched to your hair. Hair strokes mimic real brow hairs; powder gives the look of a soft brow pencil. Both are meant to look like your brows, only fuller.

What if I do not like the shape?

Nothing starts until you approve the shape drawn on your skin. Take your time at that stage and ask for changes. Healed color and shape are reviewed again at the touch-up.

I had my brows done elsewhere. Can you work over them?

Often yes, but it depends on how much old pigment remains and its color. Please book a consultation first so we can look and advise honestly.
